On June 8, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City organized the announcement of the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Nhon Nghia General Service - Transport Co., Ltd. with 17 union members and employees and launched the grassroots trade union executive committee. Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Thoa was appointed as Chairwoman of the Trade Union.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Thoa - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Nhon Nghia General Transportation and Service Co., Ltd. expressed her joy when employees at the unit officially joined the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Ms. Thoa said that the grassroots trade union executive committee will strive to build trade union activities suitable to the actual conditions of the enterprise; be close to and listen to union members and workers; coordinate with company leaders to better care for the lives, jobs, working conditions and legitimate rights of workers.
Mr. Nguyen Nghia - Director of Nhon Nghia General Transport Service Co., Ltd. said that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is a favorable condition for businesses to strengthen coordination, dialogue, and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers.
Mr. Nghia committed to caring for and creating conditions for the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to operate effectively and accompany businesses in caring for workers.
Previously, during Workers' Month 2026, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union directly worked with Nhon Nghia General Transportation and Service Co., Ltd. to exchange, propagate, and mobilize union member development and establish grassroots trade unions at enterprises.
The announcement of the establishment of grassroots trade unions today is a specific result in implementing the target of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in 2026; and at the same time contributes to expanding the Trade Union organization in the non-state business sector.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions is of practical significance, creating conditions for workers to have representative organizations, to be cared for and protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests; contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
Spreading the Wings of Dreams model
Immediately after its launch, the grassroots Trade Union of Nhon Nghia General Transportation and Service Co., Ltd. registered to respond to the model "Wings for Dreams - For the Future of Youth Union Members and Workers" launched by Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union; sponsored 1 student with difficult circumstances, with a support level of 6,000,000 VND/year and supported a welfare booth for orphaned children with disabilities launched by the Commune Trade Union during the month of action for children.
Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union said that the newly established grassroots trade union registering to sponsor disadvantaged students is a very valuable signal, showing the companionship of businesses with the Trade Union organization in taking care of social security.
