Recognition of 15 honorary members of the Vietnam Women's Union

    On the afternoon of June 8, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union organized a ceremony to recognize the honorary membership of the Vietnam Women's Union for 15 typical individuals who have made many contributions to women's work and the women's movement.

    The honorary membership recognition ceremony is organized to honor and recognize the position, role, influence as well as the positive contributions of typical individuals to the Association's activities and the Vietnamese women's movement.

    Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien said that the recognition of honorary members is not only recognition of the contributions of typical individuals but also shows the spirit of solidarity, connection and mobilization of social resources for the Union's work and the women's movement.

    Through this, the Central Vietnam Women's Union wishes to continue to receive the companionship and support of reputable and influential individuals in many fields to jointly care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of women and children, contributing to building a sustainable country.

    List of 15 honorary members of the Vietnam Women's Union:

    - Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nhan Dan Newspaper;

    - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor;

    - Mr. Luong Quoc Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union;

    - Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee;
