The billiards tournament is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and celebrate Workers' Month 2025. At the same time, it creates a healthy playground for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to meet, exchange experiences, practice physical exercise, and become more excited to successfully complete their tasks and work at agencies, units, and enterprises, building a strong Trade Union.
The tournament has the participation of 52 registered grassroots unions with 124 athletes competing in 4 events divided into 2 groups including men's singles freestyle billiards, women's singles freestyle billiards, men's singles 3-cushion billiards and men's singles double billiards.
At the closing ceremony, the program's organizing committee awarded a total of 8 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 14 third prizes for 4 events: men's singles freestyle billiards, women's singles freestyle billiards, men's singles 3-cushion billiards, men's singles double billiards. In addition, there are 1 more Miss and 2 runner-up prizes.
The first prize includes a gold and cash medal, the second prize includes a silver and cash medal, the third prize each received a bronze medal and cash; along with accompanying gifts.
According to Mr. Lu Trong Phuong - Chairman of Hai Chau District Labor Federation, the billiards tournament is a useful and healthy playground for union members to exchange, learn, exchange professional experiences, and exercise together.
