On March 5, information from the Buon Ho Town Labor Federation said that the unit had just successfully organized the Labor Union Sports and Culture Competition for workers and civil servants to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Buon Ho (March 12, 1975 - March 12, 2025); 115th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and 1985 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
The contest attracted 31 teams, representing more than 100 grassroots unions with 465 contestants participating.
The teams competed in performing sports and folk dance performances on electronic music, including songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, revolutionary traditions, trade unions and the working class as well as the beauty of Vietnamese women.
After a day of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the 18th team. The two Second prizes went to the 12th and 19th teams. The three Third Prizes went to the 20th, 22nd and 32nd teams. 8 Encouragement prizes were awarded to the following teams: 9, 11, 13, 16, 17, 24, 25 and 31.
The contest took place in a vibrant atmosphere with enthusiastic cheers from delegates, union members and workers.
Many performances are highly appreciated for their healthy dances, flexible movements and smooth coordination, leaving a deep impression.
This is a healthy and useful playground, helping cadres and union members exercise their health and improve their spiritual life.
At the same time, the contest creates conditions for exchanges, learning experiences, strengthening solidarity and contributing to the successful completion of tasks.
