Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tan Minh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ); representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, mass organizations of the province and sponsoring units.
The badminton, pickleball, and table tennis tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in the province this year attracted nearly 300 athletes and coaches from 51 agencies, units, businesses, and grassroots trade unions in the province.
The tournament is organized to practically celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day 2/9.
At the same time, continue to promote the campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho", creating a useful playground, improving health and spiritual life for union members, CNVCLĐ; strengthening exchanges and solidarity between agencies, units, and businesses in the province.
Badminton, pickleball, and table tennis tournaments for workers, civil servants, and laborers take place from July 24 to 26. In which, badminton and table tennis compete at the provincial multi-purpose gymnasium, pickleball compete at the pickleball court next to the Provincial Cultural Conference Center.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes entered the competition in three sports.
