According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, from the evening of July 25, the South entered a period of thunderstorms due to strong southwest monsoon combined with a low pressure trough.

In the next 24-48 hours, the low pressure trough will have its axis passing through the Central region and the central East Sea, connecting with storm No. 2 operating in the Northeast East Sea. The storm is likely to enter mainland China and gradually weaken.

Southwest monsoon in the Southern region operates with moderate to strong intensity. Above, subtropical high pressure in the North continues to slowly encroach westward.

In the next 3-10 days, the low pressure trough with its axis through the Central region will gradually move northward. The Southwest monsoon will maintain medium to strong intensity, then gradually weaken at the end of the forecast period.

Above, the northern subtropical high pressure continues to slowly encroach westward, with its axis passing through the North and then weakening. Around July 29, the southern high pressure tends to encroach westward and raise its axis to the North.

Forecast from 7:00 PM on July 25 to 7:00 PM on July 27, the Southern region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with common rainfall of 80-150 mm, in some places over 150 mm.

From 7 pm on July 27 to 7 pm on July 28, heavy rain will continue to be maintained over a wide area. Common rainfall is 40-80mm, in some places over 100mm. This rain wave is likely to last until July 29.

The meteorological agency warns of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas, industrial parks, riverside areas and canals. In thunderstorms, people need to be wary of dangerous weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
