On October 17, the Cao Lanh District Labor Federation (Dong Thap Province) coordinated with the People's Committee of Gao Giong Commune to organize a house handover ceremony for Ms. Nguyen Thi Nho's family in Hamlet 1, Gao Giong Commune, Cao Lanh District. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nho's family unfortunately lost their house to a fire last August.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of Cao Lanh District Party Committee; Mr. Tran Xuan Tinh - Director of Phung Nguyen Garment Company Limited; Ms. Le Thi Thu Hong - President of Cao Lanh District Labor Federation.
After 3 months of construction, Mrs. Nho's house was completed to the joy of her family; the house has an area of 60 square meters, with walls, corrugated iron roof, and tiled floor. The total construction cost was more than 220 million VND, of which Phung Nguyen Garment Company Limited supported 50 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family to make the house more spacious.
On this occasion, leaders of Cao Lanh district, Gao Giong commune and sponsors also presented gifts to Ms. Nguyen Thi Nho's family.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of Cao Lanh District Party Committee - congratulated and hoped that Mrs. Nho's family with the new house will have more motivation to overcome difficulties, develop the family economy, participate and mobilize relatives and the locality to build advanced new rural areas.
