As part of a series of activities to prepare for the Lunar New Year 2025, the Standing Committee of the Education Trade Union of Dong Thap province coordinated to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" with the participation of more than 170 union officials, union members and disadvantaged workers.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union organized 5 key activities to take care of Tet for union members, notably: Handing over 1 "Union Shelter" house to union members in difficult circumstances; requesting the Provincial Labor Federation to support 317 gifts; 140 purchases through e-commerce trading floors for workers in difficult and extremely difficult circumstances; Organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party" and the contest "Landscape Decoration and Spring Flavor"; coordinating to organize women's volleyball exchanges.
The industry union also organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to three retired union officials of the industry.
The grassroots trade unions coordinated with the government to organize Spring and Tet activities, giving 3,433 gifts to workers (each worth from 200,000 VND to 500,000 VND) with a total value of over 1.4 billion VND; Implementing cooperation agreements to implement the "Union member welfare program" on the occasion of Tet with a value of over 100 million VND; organizing cultural and sports activities, meetings of union members and workers to celebrate Spring, creating an exciting and joyful spirit.
At the program, the Industry Union presented nearly 200 gifts to union members and workers in difficult and extremely difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee summarized and awarded prizes for the Spring At Ty Landscape Decoration Contest 2025, Spring Flavors and the Teachers in My Eyes Contest 2024.
Activities from the program contribute to improving material and spiritual life, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for union members and workers during Tet.
