More than 200 Hong Ngu City Trade Union officials attend professional training

    Dong Thap - More than 200 grassroots trade union officials of Hong Ngu City Labor Federation attended professional training in 2024.

    On October 3 and 4, the Hong Ngu City Labor Federation (Dong Thap Province) coordinated with the City Political Center to organize a training course on trade union skills in 2024. Attending the training conference were more than 200 comrades who were Chairmen or Vice Chairmen, Inspection Committees, People's Inspectorate Boards and accountants of trade unions under the Hong Ngu City Labor Federation.

    At the training session, delegates listened to the implementation of documents regulating the revenue and expenditure regime of the Trade Union, instructions on using the Trade Union accounting software, instructions on the organization and operation of the People's Inspection Committee in agencies and units, general issues on the workers' movement and the Trade Union, the main activities of the Trade Union, etc.

    According to the Hong Ngu City Labor Federation, the training conference aims to help union officials better understand the new regulations on union financial revenue and expenditure in 2024, the activities of the People's Inspectorate, and better understand some of the main activities of the union... thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong union organization.

    On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union organized a ceremony to attach plaques and award support for 2 Trade Union Warm Houses (MÂCĐ) to union member Si Tuan An - Ngu Lac Electricity and union member Cao Thai Nhat - Tra Cu Electricity belonging to Vinh Long Electricity Company Trade Union. Each MÂCĐ, union members are supported with 60 million VND, with a total budget of 120 million VND.

    After the administrative boundary merger, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation quickly created many imprints in the work of caring for and protecting workers (NLĐ). Towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation - affirmed: "All efforts to streamline the organization ultimately aim to serve union members better, bringing more practical benefits to workers".
