Kien Giang provides professional training for union officials

Kien Giang - Trainees are taught about legal policies, emulation and rewards, propaganda, and office work in Trade Union activities.

On October 3, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor organized a training course on legal policies, emulation and rewards, propaganda, and office work in 2024. The training course lasted for 2 days with 85 participants.

According to Ms. Trang Thi Bich Ngoc - Vice President of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Federation of Labor determined that it is necessary to strengthen training and professional development for the team of Trade Union officials, especially the team of full-time Trade Union officials and newly elected and supplemented Trade Union officials after the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, in order to improve the professional qualifications, skills and methods of Trade Union activities, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The training course has three main contents: policy, law and labor relations, propaganda and women's work, and emulation and reward work. It includes implementing the Law on implementing democracy at the grassroots level; negotiation skills, collective bargaining, signing collective labor agreements; participating in dispute resolution, labor dispute mediation; legal advice for union members and workers...

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also launched a response to the 10th Kien Giang Province Technical Innovation Contest within the Trade Union organization.
