At the training conference, delegates listened to Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - share 3 topics: New situation and issues for Vietnam Trade Union; building a strong Trade Union in the new context; thinking, vision and skills of Trade Union officials in the new context.
According to the plan, from now until the end of 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize 3 specialized training courses on professional skills for nearly 400 full-time union officials in the province and employees of 2 public service units under the Provincial Federation of Labor on the following contents: Guidance on professional skills for full-time union officials; guidance on professional work in union inspection and supervision; guidance on communication and behavioral skills, program development skills; conference and event organization plans; work on protecting state secrets; professional work on communication of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation; operational skills of the Women's Union and parenting skills for the development of young children; some professional skills related to the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations.
Through the training course, it helps the Union staff to improve their knowledge, practical experience effectively, practically and necessary skills in their activities, thereby promptly resolving issues arising from practice to ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; creating favorable conditions for Union staff to continue studying and researching to improve their qualifications in all aspects, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the Union organization's activities in the period of innovation and integration.
