On the afternoon of October 29, authorized by the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce and present the decision of the Presidium of the VGCL on personnel work.
At the conference, Head of Organization - Inspection of Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thanh Nghia announced Decision No. 1981/QD-TLD, dated October 22, 2024 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on recognizing the election results of the position of Vice President of Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, term XI, 2023 - 2028 for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Chairman of the Sa Dec City Federation of Labor - from October 14, 2024.
Speaking at the assignment, President of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui congratulated Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan on his new assignment, and believed and hoped that with the knowledge and experience of a union official from the grassroots level, Mr. Tuan and the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation would successfully complete the assigned tasks in the coming time, focusing on achieving and exceeding the goals and targets set in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and Dong Thap Labor Union activities for the first half of the 2023 - 2025 term.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan expressed his honor to be recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as Vice President of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation and this is also a great responsibility of himself to the Trade Union organization, union members and workers of the province. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan promised to continue to improve his knowledge, actively learn from the experiences of his predecessors in performing assigned tasks and hoped to receive the attention, support and facilitation of the Party Delegation, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation and the collective of cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Labor Federation to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Previously, on October 14, the Executive Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor held an extraordinary meeting to complete the position of Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor. With 100% of the votes in agreement, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Chairman of the Sa Dec City Federation of Labor - was elected to hold the position of Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, term XI, 2023 - 2028.
