On April 30, the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation commended typical advanced collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in the period 2021–2025 among union members and workers.
Among the typical examples commended, Mr. Tran Duc Thang - union member of Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital Co., Ltd. - is one of the 10 typical individuals, honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation thanks to his outstanding achievements and outstanding contributions in the emulation movement for labor and studying and following Uncle Ho.
Dedicated and responsible in his work, Dr. Tran Duc Thang - Head of the Health Examination Unit - plays an important role in organizing and operating all health examination activities at the hospital.
Before 2023, in his role in charge of business health check-ups at Hoang Anh Gia Lai University Medical Hospital (from 2012 to 2023), he always made efforts, excellently completed assigned tasks and made his mark with impressive results.
In 2023 alone, business health check-up activities achieved revenue of 9.4 billion VND, serving 8,794 visits, an increase of 27.42% compared to 2022.
From 2024 to now, in his position as Head of the Health Examination Unit at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital, he continues to promote management capacity, constantly learn, research expertise and innovate working methods.
Thanks to that, in the two years 2024–2025, the unit brought in a total revenue of more than 16 billion VND for the hospital.
In 2025 alone, the unit served more than 150 businesses with 11,647 visits; revenue growth rate reached 81.48% compared to 2024, contract renewal rate reached over 85% - clear evidence of increasingly improved reputation and service quality.
In 2024 and 2025, he directly participated and organized 4 free medical examinations and treatments in Ia Lau, Ia Dom, Ia Pnon and Chu Se communes (Gia Lai province), supporting medical examination and treatment for more than 733 people with a total budget of over 126 million VND, contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion and responsibility to the community of medical staff.
For his persistent and effective contributions, Mr. Tran Duc Thang was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation for his outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and building trade union organizations in 2023.
This commendation continues to be a worthy recognition of his continuous efforts, a typical example in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, contributing to spreading positive values among union members and workers of An Phu Ward Trade Union.
