On October 25, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union (Gia Lai Province) said that the total number of grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions under the management of the unit includes 99 organizations with 6,676 union members.
Including many FDI companies, joint stock enterprises, public service units and grassroots unions. The rate of union members and workers gathering into the trade union organization reached 6,676/6,753 people, equivalent to 98.86%.
In Pleiku ward, most of the enterprises are small and micro-sized, and production and business activities still face many difficulties.
The employment of workers and civil servants in the public sector is relatively stable, but in the non-state sector, the average income is only about 4.8 million VND/month, while prices have increased, affecting the lives of workers.

Employers are increasingly interested in workers' lives, but there are still cases of late or failure to pay social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; have not yet developed or fully implemented salary scales, democratic regulations, and collective labor agreements.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan - Chairwoman of the Pleiku Ward Trade Union - said that in the coming time, the trade union will promote collective bargaining in a more substantial direction, synthesizing the contents achieved through dialogues, periodic negotiations and consensus at the annual Labor Conference.
Thereby, minimizing labor contracts with illegal regulations or welfare regimes lower than the prescribed level.
To date, 72/99 enterprises and units in the ward have signed collective labor agreements, reaching a rate of 72.7%.
