It is necessary to strictly implement grassroots democracy regulations
On August 21, trade unions of wards such as Dien Hong, Thong Nhat, Pleiku with thousands of union members and workers well organized dialogue, listening, inspection, and supervision activities at businesses in the area.
This is an opportunity for the Trade Union organization and business representatives to grasp the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of workers, assess working regimes and social welfare, thereby continuing to build progressive labor relations.
According to the Dien Hong Ward Trade Union, through supervision, 7/8 inspected enterprises have developed and issued regulations on democracy; enterprises basically publicly disclose contents related to production and business activities and the rights and interests of employees.
Besides the achieved results, the Ward Trade Union also pointed out some limitations such as: some businesses still have difficulties in recruiting and stabilizing labor sources; not fully implementing the sending of collective labor agreements and labor regulations to state management agencies on labor; the implementation of democracy regulations in some units is still formalistic...
At Gia Lai Printing and Education Development Joint Stock Company (under Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union), the enterprise organizes a direct dialogue program with employees.
Proposal to increase salaries, ensure professional work
Many opinions focused on technical solutions and process improvements to improve productivity and labor efficiency, while creating conditions for workers to develop their abilities and feel secure in sticking with businesses.
Through this, businesses have more practical information to research and adjust management methods, organize production appropriately, and at the same time encourage employees to contribute initiatives and solutions to improve work efficiency.
At Ia Grai Health Center (under Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union), workers proposed considering increasing salaries and bonuses in accordance with actual conditions; ensuring meal allowances; promptly supplementing equipment and tools to serve professional work.
Some opinions also proposed strengthening dialogue channels, regularly listening to opinions from grassroots levels and organizing more activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members.
All opinions of union members and workers are listened to and received by representatives of businesses and employers at agencies and units with a spirit of receptiveness and democracy.
