Female trade union official close to the people, pushing back black credit

Gia Lai - Female Trade Union officials attached to the rights of workers, making the People's Credit Fund grow, becoming a reliable address for the people.

Trade union official dedicated to workers

In her position as Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union in the period 2023 - 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van affirmed her role as a solid "bridge" between the unit and employees.

Not only being close and listening to the thoughts and aspirations of each union member, she also proactively proposed many welfare regimes on salaries, income, bonuses for the 13th and 14th months of salary, along with regimes during holidays and Tet.

In addition, she actively organizes activities to care for union members' lives such as visits, "Trade Union Meal" programs, sightseeing, tourism... helping workers feel secure in their work and be attached to the unit for a long time.

With those efforts, in 2024, she was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation for outstanding and excellent grassroots Trade Union Presidents. This is a worthy recognition for a "leader" who always puts collective interests first.

Not only excellently completing professional tasks and trade union work, she is also a typical example in balancing career and family. In 2025, she continued to be awarded a certificate of merit "Good at state affairs, good at housework" by the Provincial Labor Federation.

This award once again affirms the image of a modern woman: dedicated to social work, responsible to the community but still maintaining the family, taking care of the family, raising children to be obedient and study well.

Decisive manager at the People's Credit Fund

From 2025, in her position as Secretary of the Party Cell, Director of Thang Loi People's Credit Fund, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van continues to demonstrate leadership and management capacity, bringing the unit to stable and sustainable development.

To date, the total operating capital of the fund has reached more than 104 billion VND, an increase of more than 43 billion VND compared to the beginning of the previous term; deposit mobilization revenue has reached over 642 billion VND.

In the past 5 years, the fund has developed 401 new members, bringing the total number of members to 1,710 people; and at the same time providing loans to more than 5,100 members, with a total amount of over 531 billion VND.

In parallel with lending activities, debt recovery is always focused on by the fund to limit the occurrence of overdue debts and effectively control bad debts. The unit also actively participates in humanitarian and charitable activities in the locality.

Thang Loi People's Credit Fund not only ensures operational safety and growth of mobilized capital, but also becomes a reliable address, supporting many difficult households to access capital for production development, contributing to pushing back "black credit" in the area.

The harmonious combination of the thinking of being close to the people of a trade union official and the decisiveness of a financial manager has created a portrait of a typical female leader.

With the trust of local voters, in 2026, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van participated in the election and was elected to the People's Council of An Phu ward for the term 2026 - 2031. This is an opportunity for her to continue to bring the voices and aspirations of the people and especially workers to the elected forum, contributing to building practical resolutions, promoting collective economic development and sustainable rural credit.
