On May 15, news from the Trade Union of Pleiku Ward, Gia Lai province said that the unit had just organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of the Economic Zone Infrastructure Development Company.
At the conference, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union announced the decision to admit 28 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization; and announced the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of the Economic Zone Infrastructure Development Company and appointed the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 3 members.
Mr. Nguyen Tu Quyet - Deputy Director of the Company was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Trinh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is an important milestone, contributing to affirming the role of trade union organizations in enterprises.
At the same time, he requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to promote the spirit of responsibility, well implement the work of caring for life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; create motivation for workers to feel secure in their work, attached and accompany the development of enterprises.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan - Chairwoman of Pleiku Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union soon stabilize the organization, build operating regulations, and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers to coordinate with businesses to resolve them.
At the same time, pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
