On January 30, Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that the Federation's working delegation led by Comrade Ngo Dinh Van, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, had a working session with the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd.
At the working session, the Company's grassroots Trade Union briefly reported on the labor situation, employment, income, working conditions of employees; salary, bonus, insurance and welfare regimes being implemented by the enterprise. At the same time, the Trade Union provided specific information on activities to care for Binh Ngo Tet 2026 such as: giving Tet gifts, supporting bus tickets for workers to return to their hometowns, organizing welfare programs and visiting and supporting union members in difficult circumstances.
According to the report, in 2026, the Company had many positive adjustments in welfare policies for employees. The basic salary was adjusted to increase from 8% to 30%; Tet bonus increased from 1.5 months to 2 months of basic salary; dormitory costs decreased from 1.5 million VND to 1 million VND per month, contributing to reducing the burden of living expenses for workers.
Speaking at the working session, Comrade Ngo Dinh Van acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness of businesses and grassroots trade unions in taking care of life and ensuring the rights of workers.
At the same time, he requested the Company to continue to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members; closely coordinate with businesses in implementing salary and welfare policies; pay more attention to union members in difficult circumstances; strengthen propaganda, ensure security and order, and stabilize production before, during and after the Lunar New Year.
