On behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, signed the Decision on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation for the 2023-2028 term. The decision takes effect from July 1, 2025.
Accordingly, the new Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor was established on the basis of merging the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor, the Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor and the Dak Nong Provincial Federation of Labor.
The decision of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor clearly states that the new Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation operates according to the provisions of the Law of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Along with that are regulations of the Party, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and competent local Party committees.
Regarding organization, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation will manage grassroots unions, grassroots unions, union members under Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Federation and Dak Nong Provincial Labor Federation before merging and consolidating.
The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also issued a decision to recognize the positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the new Lam Dong province after the merger.
In this decision, the positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province for the 2024 - 2029 term are recognized, consisting of 15 people, including the chairman and 14 vice chairmen.
Comrade Nguyen Phu Hoang holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and is also the Chairman of the new Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.
Before being recognized with this title, comrade Nguyen Phu Hoang was a member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Binh Thuan province.
