On June 27, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor held a meeting of the Executive Committee of the 19th Executive Committee to expand the 7th session of the 2023-2028 term to evaluate the results of the work of the Trade Union in the first 6 months of 2025 and announce the decision to end the activities of the Trade Union at the grassroots level, implemented according to the roadmap for restructuring the apparatus after merging administrative units.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Permanent Vice President of the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor - said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the employment, income and living situation of union members and workers in the province was basically stable. Enterprises maintain production and ensure employment with a Lunar New Year bonus of VND500,000 or more.
The average bonus ranges from 2.6 to 6.48 million VND/person. Workers, civil servants and laborers actively compete in production, responding to movements during Workers' Month and Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, the ideology and mood of union members and workers are generally stable, believing in the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies. However, there is still a worrying mentality about the situation of counterfeit and poor quality goods affecting health. Many people expressed their hope that the State would take more drastic measures and sanctions more severely against violations in this field.
Notably, in the first 6 months of the year, labor relations in the province were basically harmonious, without any group labor disputes or collective work stoppages. The Trade Union at all levels has coordinated with employers to promptly resolve recommendations, ensuring proper implementation of laws on labor, wages and welfare regimes.
At the conference, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor also said goodbye to leaders and union officials who are full-time workers transferred and retired after completing their tasks in the process of transforming the union organization and announced the end of the activities of 15 trade unions at the grassroots level.
