The conference commended the Trade Unions of all sectors for always paying attention to the work of caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees in recent years, regularly grasping the implementation of policies on wages, bonuses, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for union members and employees; strengthening coordination with competent authorities to participate in inspection, examination, and supervision of the implementation of labor laws, the Social Insurance Law, the Trade Union Law, and the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene at units and enterprises.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Emulation Bloc of Trade Unions of all sectors coordinated with experts, partners and Trade Unions to visit and give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; support bus tickets for union members and workers whose hometowns are far from their workplaces to return home for Tet and participate in the Trade Union Tet Market,... Union members and workers in sectors in the emulation bloc supported compatriots affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi) with a total amount of over 4.2 billion VND and 5 tons of rice.
At the same time, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has always been given attention and focus. Units in the Emulation Bloc have recruited 1,617 new union members and established 03 grassroots unions. The Executive Committee of the Grassroots Union in the Emulation Bloc has performed its role and responsibility well in training and introducing outstanding union members for the Party organization to consider, train and admit into the Party. In 2024, 275 outstanding union members will be considered for admission into the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the Conference, the Education Sector Trade Union, Head of the emulation block in 2024, handed over the unit of the block leader in 2025 to the Provincial Civil Servants Trade Union.
Emulation movements continue to be focused on and implemented, such as: "Democracy - Discipline - Love - Responsibility" campaign; "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity"; "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning". Emulation movement "Good worker, creative worker"; "Green - Clean - Beautiful; ensuring occupational safety and health - fire prevention and fighting" movement; "Building a cultural agency and an 8-hour working day with quality and efficiency", associated with the implementation of the campaign to build "Loyal, responsible, honest and creative" civil servants and public employees.
