The event is part of a meaningful series of activities to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Founding Day of the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the conference, the delegates collectively reviewed the glorious tradition of the Trade Union and the Vietnamese working class over 95 years of construction and development. Accordingly, through the process of construction, as of now, the Trade Union of Yên Mỹ District currently has 142 grassroots trade unions with nearly 17,000 trade union members.
The trade union levels in the district actively innovate the direction and organization of trade union activities in a scientific and suitable manner for each target trade union member and laborer. Each year, the rate of enterprises with trade unions organizing the laborer conference reaches 70%; the trade union levels in the district coordinate the organization of activities to care for the Lunar New Year for 10,665 laborers and officials with a total amount of over VND 2.4 trillion.
In his speech at the conference, Mr. Lê Quang Toản - Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Provincial Trade Union (PPTU) - highly appreciated the role of the Yên Mỹ District Trade Union in implementing the patriotic emulation movement over the past period. At the same time, the Chairman of the PPTU proposed that in the coming time, the trade union levels in Yên Mỹ District need to continue to closely follow the leadership and direction of the PPTU and Yên Mỹ District Party Committee to implement activities; especially, they need to closely follow the practical situation of each agency, unit, and enterprise to implement activities in a suitable and effective manner…
At the conference, the People's Committee of the district and the PPTU of Yên Mỹ District praised 58 collectives, officials, and trade union members who are outstanding during the period of 2019 - 2024. These are shining examples, always upholding a sense of responsibility, courage, and intelligence of Vietnamese trade union officials, with many creative ideas in professional work as well as trade union activities, contributing significantly to the development of a strong and thriving trade union organization.
