On the afternoon of February 26, the Mobilization Committee to establish the grassroots trade union of Hoang Giang Agricultural Machinery Company Limited (Chau Thanh district, Kien Giang province) and the company's workers held a conference to establish the grassroots trade union and admit union members at the company.
At the conference, the Mobilization Committee for the establishment of the Company's Trade Union reported on the process of mobilizing workers to participate in the Trade Union organization and announced the list of 33 workers who applied to join the Trade Union organization.
The conference elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union consisting of 5 members. Ms. Lam Kim Thao - Chief Accountant of the company - was elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Hoang Giang Agricultural Machinery Company Limited.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of Chau Thanh District Labor Federation Tran Thi Khanh Linh highly appreciated the positive coordination spirit of the Company's Board of Directors with the District Labor Federation in establishing grassroots unions.
Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Linh hopes that in the coming time, she will continue to receive support and facilitation from the Company's Board of Directors so that the Trade Union can effectively promote its activities in the Trade Union. At the same time, it is recommended that the Executive Committee and the Provisional Inspection Committee of the Trade Union develop working regulations, assign specific tasks to members of the Executive Committee, members of the Inspection Committee; develop a plan for Trade Union activities and carry out other procedures.
The Executive Committee performs well the role, functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization; propagates to union members about the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; resolutions of the superior Trade Union, the Trade Union Law, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; together with the company's board of directors to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. Participating in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; guiding union members to participate in emulation movements and production labor.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hoang Giang Agricultural Machinery Company Limited Lam Kim Thao said that he will try his best with the Executive Committee and the union members and workers in the company to successfully complete the assigned tasks, worthy of being a solid support for union members and workers.
Ms. Thao also expressed her wish that the District Labor Federation support and guide her on the work of the Trade Union so that the Trade Union can operate strongly.
