Recently, the Department of Health coordinated with the Kien Giang Health Sector Trade Union to organize the " Singing and Medical Sector Charm" contest for civil servants, public employees and workers in the health sector. The contest is held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).
Mr. Nguyen Truc Giang - Deputy Director of the Department of Health, Chairman of the Kien Giang Health Sector Trade Union - said: This is a useful playground, a basis for building cultural and artistic movements, improving spiritual life; creating an environment for union members and employees to participate in cultural activities and perform art. At the same time, it creates opportunities for health workers to exchange, learn, and maintain solidarity between units.
In addition, the contest also introduced the charm and ingenuity of medical staff, especially female employees in the health sector to honor the beauty of white-clad soldiers in the cause of caring for people's health.
The art performances praised the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union; honored the Vietnamese health sector and doctors. In particular, the contributions of female health workers in the work of protecting and caring for people's health.
14 teams have carefully prepared 28 singing, duets, groups of singing and dancing, 28 environmentally friendly fashion shows and self-prepared ao dai performances by hundreds of actors who are doctors and medical staff in the whole industry.
The Organizing Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the units and all contestants. In just a short time from the implementation of the Plan to the competition day, you have to work and work to ensure the completion of the tasks of the agency and unit well, and overcome all difficulties and obstacles to spend time practicing and staging the competition program. The teams had good performances, beautiful and impressive performances, in line with the theme of the contest.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in the solo, duet, and trio categories to the Provincial General Hospital unit; the first prize in the dance group belonged to the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital; the first prize in the charm competition belonged to the Ha Tien City Medical Center; the first prize in the whole group belonged to the Provincial General Hospital.
