At noon on January 16, the Trade Union of Phan Thiet ward (Lam Dong province) organized a support ceremony for union members and workers affected by storms and floods in the 2nd phase of 2025.
Support funds are deducted from the source of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and allocated by the Provincial Labor Federation.

Accordingly, Phan Thiet ward was allocated 15 gifts, including 7 gifts worth 1 million VND and 8 gifts worth 500,000 VND.
The support level is based on the extent of property damage of each family, prioritizing cases heavily affected by flooding, damaged houses and household items.

Mr. Tang Minh Vien - Chairman of Phan Thiet Ward Trade Union said that immediately after receiving the support source, the ward trade union urgently organized to give gifts so that union members could promptly cover living expenses, repair houses, and stabilize their lives.
These support packages are meaningful for sharing and encouraging spirit, cannot fully compensate for property damage, but are a timely concern of the trade union organization for union members and workers," Mr. Vien said.
At the program, Mr. Doan Van Su - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Working Committee of Lam Dong province directly presented gifts and sent greetings, encouraging union members to overcome difficulties soon, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in labor and production.

Previously, in phase 1 (flood from October 30 to November 3, 2025), Phan Thiet Ward Trade Union was allocated and awarded 26 gifts to union members and affected workers.
Support is deployed promptly and to the right people, showing the accompanying role of trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
Receiving the support, union member Nguyen Phuc - Grassroots Trade Union of the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation expressed his gratitude to the trade union organization for caring and supporting his family after the flood.
This is not only material help but also a source of spiritual encouragement for me to feel secure to work when Tet is approaching.
The Trade Union determines that caring for the lives of union members after storms and floods is a continuous task, contributing to helping workers soon stabilize their lives and stick with the unit.
