Each gift of moon cakes is worth nearly 120,000 VND, taken from the union fund and mobilized additional social resources. "We give gifts early so that workers have the conditions to take care of the Mid-Autumn Festival more fully and meaningfully for their families," Ms. Trang shared.
Mr. K'Van - a worker at the company - excitedly said: "Every year the union gives us moon cakes. Thanks to that, the whole family has the opportunity to sit together and have fun with the children. According to Ms. Ka Sot, the trade union not only cares about the Mid-Autumn Festival but also gives gifts to workers on Lunar New Year, International Women's Day (8.3), Vietnamese Women's Day (10.20), birthdays... In particular, on the occasion of July 28 every year - Trade Union Day, the unit organizes "Union Meals" for workers to gather and connect.
Ms. Ka Soc shared: "These activities give us more motivation to stick with the company and work better".
In addition, because most of the workers are female, the union also regularly organizes periodic health check-ups and gynecological examinations; coordinates with the company to build more toilets, standard Milk Supply and Storage rooms, helping women feel secure in raising their children with breast milk.
