On September 13, information from Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor, the unit has just issued a plan to organize trade union congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Currently, the unit has 11 commune, ward and special zone unions and more than 1,060 grassroots unions, with more than 92,000 union members.
Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor sets a goal that the commune, ward and special zone union congress will be completed before October 31, 2025. Similarly, the grassroots union and trade union congress will be completed before November 30, 2025.
The unit also requires the time to organize an official congress at the grassroots level not to exceed 1 session, encouraged to be associated with the summary of trade union work in 2025.
With the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term will be held after the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, expected to be completed before December 31, 2025.
Trade union congresses at all levels in the province are responsible for summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the resolution of the trade union congress of the past term; proposing the direction of activities for the new term. At the same time, the congress commented on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and electing a new term of the Trade Union Executive Committee.
Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor also stipulates the number of members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Trade Union Inspection Committees at all levels. Specifically, grassroots trade unions are elected with a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 25 members, commune, ward and special zone trade unions are elected with a maximum of 15 members of the Executive Committee.
In order to prepare well for the Provincial Trade Union Congress, the unit established Document Subcommittees, Human Resources Subcommittees, Propaganda, Organization and Service Subcommittees.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang said that this congress marked a fundamental change in the organizational model in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
The Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term is held with the motto "Solidarity - democracy - discipline - innovation - development". This is an extensive political activity among trade unions at all levels, union members, and workers in the province.
From there, trade unions at all levels concretize the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws into their congress resolutions, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang emphasized.
