Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has just coordinated with the Trade Union of Right Rich International Company Limited to organize a "Union Meal" for all workers at the company.
This activity is to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28). This is the grassroots union with the largest number of union members in Lam Dong province with 3,351 union members 3,572 workers.

Unlike the usual mid-shift meal, the "Union Meal" is worth doubled thanks to additional funding from the union.
According to records, the portion sizes include: Pork, chicken, stir-fried dishes, soups, soft drinks and dessert yogurt.

Sharing with workers at the program, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that today's meal is a beautiful symbol of sharing, solidarity, and closeness.
He hopes that after this meeting, we will understand each other more and be more connected, for a common goal: "Workers are guaranteed rights - Trade unions are increasingly strong - Enterprises develop sustainably".

Accordingly, leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Chairmen of Commune Trade Unions and local leaders had a union meal with workers.
At the dining table, stories, greetings and smiles were shared, dispelling fatigue after work.

Ms. Dang Van Phan, a worker at the company, shared, "Union Meal" today has more delicious food than usual. I would like to thank the trade union organization for its concern for workers. Hopefully there will be more delicious meals like that.
Also at the "Union Meal" program, the grassroots Trade Union had gifts to thank workers, laborers from war invalids' and martyrs' families and workers in difficult circumstances. Gifts such as cash, cakes, bicycles and fans were given.

"Union Meal" is held right at the workplace, in an intimate atmosphere, further demonstrating practical concern for the lives of workers.
This is not just a meal but also an opportunity for leaders of trade unions, authorities, businesses and workers to sit together, share and listen between all parties.
This activity also demonstrates the role of representing negotiations with employers, concretizing the goal of improving the quality of shift meals.
