On January 13, the grassroots Trade Union of the Lam Dong Provincial Social Policy Bank said that the unit currently has more than 400 union members and workers.
Over the past time, the trade union has innovated its operating methods in a practical direction, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate and achieving many positive results.
Notably, the Trade Union Executive Committee coordinated with the Board of Directors of the Lam Dong Provincial Social Policy Bank to launch the emulation movement "Good Labor, Creative Labor", creating motivation for the unit to complete annual targets and tasks.
In the period 2023-2025, through policy credit programs, the Lam Dong Provincial Social Policy Bank has helped over 25,700 households overcome the poverty line; attracted and created jobs for more than 91,000 workers; over 41,000 turns of students in difficult circumstances were able to borrow capital for study.
In parallel with that, the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers is always concerned by the trade union. Visiting and gift-giving activities, culture - sports and social and charity work are regularly implemented, promoting efficiency.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the trade union sets a goal to continue to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of officials, union members, and workers;
and at the same time coordinate with the Board of Directors to promote emulation movements such as "Good workers - creative workers", "Good at banking - good at housework", "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees emulation to implement office culture", associated with digital transformation, administrative reform and practice of thrift and combating wastefulness.
Ms. Vo Thi Minh Thao - Deputy Director, Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Lam Dong Provincial Bank for Social Policies - emphasized that the trade union will continue to replicate advanced typical examples, initiatives, and effective solutions; coordinate with professional departments to implement policy credit programs, contributing to the successful implementation of the set goals.
