On January 19, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just established a number of commune and ward trade unions in Dak Nong province (old).
According to Mr. Phan Thanh Thai - Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, this is a new trade union organization model, established in communes, wards and special zones. For localities with few grassroots trade unions or a small number of union members, the Provincial Labor Federation directs the establishment of inter-commune and ward trade unions to maintain and improve operational efficiency in neighboring areas.
Over the past time, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union. This Trade Union is assigned to manage 48 grassroots trade unions in Bac Gia Nghia, Dong Gia Nghia and Nam Gia Nghia wards, with more than 2,170 union members and workers.
To ensure that the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union soon stabilizes and operates properly, the Provincial Labor Federation has appointed a Provisional Executive Committee of 10 members, the Standing Committee of 3 members; and appointed Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ngoc to hold the position of Chairman of the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union.
Immediately after the conference announcing the decisions, the Provisional Executive Committee of Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union met, discussed and decided on many important contents, including approving the working regulations, assigning tasks to members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Women's Affairs Committee and the key work program for 2026.
The consistent goal identified by the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union is to effectively perform the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests and taking care of improving the lives of union members and workers.
Speaking to orient activities, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai requested the Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union to initially focus on widespread propaganda about the 14th National Party Congress and the 16th National Assembly election, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
At the same time, the trade union needs to pay attention to and take care of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 with the motto "all union members and workers have Tet"; and at the same time continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, building a comprehensively strong Bac Gia Nghia Ward Trade Union.
