On January 17, Mr. Nguyen Tran Ngoc Lam - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of SCAVI Joint Stock Company Branch in Ward 3 Bao Loc (Lam Dong province) said that the unit is currently operating in the field of export garment with more than 800 workers.
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the Board of Directors of the company always coordinate closely, ensuring stable jobs for workers. Currently, 100% of workers are assigned labor contracts. In which, unspecified contracts account for nearly 77%.
According to Mr. Lam, signing labor contracts helps workers participate in social insurance, ensure jobs, salaries and welfare regimes according to regulations.
To achieve this result, the trade union regularly advises and guides employees to actively learn and sign contracts immediately upon entering work at the company.
The grassroots trade union also accompanies the Board of Directors in preparing dossiers and resolving social insurance and health insurance regimes for employees; and at the same time ensures that employees who quit their jobs are fully and promptly paid for regimes in accordance with legal regulations and company regulations.
Every year, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union coordinates with the Board of Directors to organize employee conferences and maintain periodic dialogues every 3 months. Through this, the trade union closely participates in the process of building and implementing policies, and promptly supervises so that the rights and welfare of employees are increasingly enhanced.
In the period 2023-2025, workers were given periodic health check-ups 2 times/year, supported with training to improve skills and organized exams to raise worker ranks. To date, 58 workers have received salary increases and worker ranks.
The Trade Union Executive Committee also negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with many preferential policies for workers.
In which, monthly support items include: 300,000 VND for gasoline, 500,000 VND for rent, 100,000 VND for childcare, support for health check-ups of more than 300,000 VND; especially female workers are supported with an additional 50,000 VND to buy personal items.
In addition, workers are rewarded with a professional allowance of 500,000 VND/month and a monthly productivity bonus, with the highest level reaching 6.3 million VND.
