On August 18, Chairman of the Da Lat City Labor Confederation Nguyen Thanh Tuan said that this unit had just organized the planting of 1,000 three-leaf pine trees in the city.
This is an annual activity of this unit, implementing a plan to plant 3.8 trees in Da Lat city. This activity aims to contribute to completing the goal of planting 50 million trees in the period 2021 - 2025 of Lam Dong province.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, to organize this activity, the unit had previously registered with the City People's Committee and related units for careful preparation.
The union coordinates with the Forest Ranger industry to provide quality seedlings and professional staff to guide planting and care techniques. The goal is to ensure that plants grow and develop well.
“We soon propagated and campaigned to grassroots Trade Unions in the city. Today's launch had more than 500 officials, union members, public employees, and workers responding and participating," said the Chairman of the Da Lat City Labor Confederation.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Da Lat Urban Services Joint Stock Company - shared that this time, more than 100 union members and workers at the Company responded and participated.
"We also prepared more than 100 hoes and shovels to serve brothers and sisters in other units participating in this tree planting work" - Mr. Duc shared.
