On November 5, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) - said that the unit had just successfully directed the organization of trade union congresses of communes, wards and Phu Quy Special Zone for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, from October 14 to 31, all 10 commune, ward and special zone trade unions of Phu Quy province completed the congress. This is an extensive political activity among union members and workers at the grassroots level.
According to Mr. Hoang, the congresses are organized solemnly, in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the instructions of the General Confederation.
In the spirit of democracy and solidarity, the congress comprehensively assessed the workers' movement and trade union activities for the 2023-2028 term; at the same time, discussed and proposed directions, targets and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
The key goal is to innovate the content and methods of operation, build a strong trade union organization; protect legitimate and legal rights and interests and better care for the material and spiritual life of workers, Mr. Hoang emphasized.
To successfully organize the congress, grassroots trade unions have carefully prepared the content, personnel, program and ceremony. Previously, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized training, guided the congress work and established 5 groups to direct and support the implementation units.
Currently, the Provincial Federation of Labor is guiding and supporting the trade unions of communes, wards, and Phu Quy Special Zone to complete the dossier after the congress; developing working regulations, assigning tasks to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee.
Immediately after the congress, we requested grassroots unions to urgently develop programs and action plans to soon put the congress resolution into practice, associated with practical activities for union members and workers, said Mr. Hoang.
