On September 26, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - said that the unit had just conducted a survey to establish an inter-commune union cluster in the southeast area of the province.
The goal is to promptly support workers to participate in the rapidly developing labor market in this area.
Investment projects in industrial clusters are constantly increasing, leading to an increasing number of workers. Therefore, the establishment of a union cluster is very necessary to promptly support workers, while developing union members and establishing grassroots unions, Mr. Hoang emphasized.
According to the survey, the southeastern area of the province has 4 industrial clusters with an area of nearly 200 hectares. These clusters have basically filled the planned area, many projects have come into operation, creating jobs for thousands of local workers.
In addition, many new projects are under construction, expanding production, promising to create tens of thousands of more jobs.
Typically, at Nam Ha Industrial Cluster, Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited has put into operation phase 1, employing more than 4,000 workers. At the end of this year, the company will install additional lines, creating about 8,000 more jobs.
From 2026 onwards, the company will continue to implement phases 2 and 3, expected to create jobs for over 30,000 workers.
At Nam Ha 2 Industrial Cluster, the Hoa Long EcoHub project is under construction, expected to be operational from October 2025, and will create jobs for more than 7,000 workers in early 2026.
At the same time, BHT Group started construction of the electrical equipment factory, expected to be completed in February 2026, with a demand for more than 1,000 workers.
In addition, Uni Dong Ha Joint Stock Company and Uni Nam Ha Company Limited plan to build a wood press and wood processing factory for export in 2026, creating about 1,000 more jobs.
Recently, workers in the communes of Southeast Lam Dong have mainly worked in industrial parks in Dong Nai.
When local projects come into operation, tens of thousands of workers will have the opportunity to work right in their hometown with attractive income and benefits.
