HCMC appoints Acting Editor-in-Chief and 5 Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper

HCMC On the morning of September 26, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to hand over the decision on cadres at Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Khac Van as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and assign the duties of Acting Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper until the official decision on the personnel of the Editor-in-Chief is made.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Van was born in 1968 in Quang Tri, has a Master's degree in Journalism - Communication, Bachelor of Information Technology and Senior Political Theory - Administration.

During his working career, Mr. Nguyen Khac Van has held many positions and held important positions at Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper. Before being appointed as Acting Editor-in-Chief, he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief, assigned to be in charge of and operate the operations of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper from June 2024.

Along with that, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee appointed 5 Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, including: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh; Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong; Mr. Pham Van Truong; Mr. Truong Duc Nghia (former Editor-in-Chief of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper); Mr. Le Minh Tung (former Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper).

Previously, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper received personnel from Binh Duong Newspaper and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper for work.
