On the afternoon of August 22, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Mountain Service Center Grassroots Trade Union. This is a unit under the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the province.
At the ceremony, 17 union members were admitted. The provisional Executive Committee of 3 people was also introduced. Mr. Nguyen Minh Chinh - Deputy Director of the Center was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor presented the decision and requested the grassroots trade unions to soon stabilize the organization, paying attention to the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
The re-establishment of the grassroots trade union of the Mountainous Service Center (after the merger of departments and provincial mergers) contributes to strengthening the trade union system in the agency and unit sector.
Thereby affirming the accompanying role of trade unions in caring for and protecting workers' rights.
