On November 11, the Trade Union of Duc Giang Chemical Company Limited (address: Tang Loong Industrial Park, Lao Cai province) held a grassroots Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress evaluated the results of activities during the provisional term and set out directions and tasks for the coming period, aiming to build a strong trade union organization and better care for union members and workers.
During the past term, the Executive Board of the Trade Union has closely coordinated with the Board of Directors of the company to effectively implement the grassroots democracy regulations; organize annual workers' conferences, creating conditions for workers to promote their mastery rights, participate in giving opinions and deciding on issues directly related to their legitimate rights and interests.
The emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" is maintained regularly, contributing to improving productivity and sense of responsibility in production labor.
occupational safety, hygiene, and fire prevention are focused on, along with many welfare activities such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", visiting and giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances.
In the 2023-2025 term, the union and the company have spent more than 977 million VND to take care of the children of workers, reward those who study well, and at the same time maintain support for social and charity programs with a total budget of more than 114 billion VND.
Not only that, the Trade Union also paid special attention to female workers, promoted propaganda on gender equality, prevented domestic violence, organized activities to celebrate March 8 and October 20, launched the movement "Good at public work, good at housework", attracting a large number of female union members to participate.
In addition, the Trade Union regularly coordinates with professionals to ensure jobs and stable income for 100% of workers; the average income is 22.8 million VND/person/month.
Social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, shift allowances, vacations, subsidies, etc. are all fully implemented and transparent.
In the work of building the organization, the Trade Union focuses on developing union members, improving the quality of life, and training cadres, 100% of union members receive professional training.
The emulation movements "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety" and "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs" were widely promoted, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere throughout the unit.
For the 2025-2030 term, the Duc Giang Chemical Company Trade Union aims to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, enhance the representative role, better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, contributing to building sustainable business development.
