On September 13, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) organized a working delegation to visit, encourage and present gifts to a number of businesses, union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
The working delegation was led by Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Permanent Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor, along with leaders of the Industrial Parks Trade Union and full-time provincial trade union officials.
At the destinations, the working group directly worked with business leaders to grasp the production, business, employment, and income of workers as well as the difficulties and obstacles in the current period.
Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged the efforts of enterprises in maintaining production activities, ensuring jobs and income for workers.
At the same time, he affirmed that the Trade Union organization will always accompany and share with businesses, especially in caring for the lives of union members and workers.
On this occasion, the working group presented gifts to enterprises, each worth 2 million VND, demonstrating the concern and support of the Trade Union organization in supporting enterprises to overcome difficulties and maintain production and business activities.
Along with that, the delegation also presented each enterprise with 10 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, worth 500,000 VND/gift.
Although the gifts have no material value, they have profound spiritual significance, and are timely encouragement for workers to feel secure in sticking with the enterprise, striving to overcome difficulties, improving productivity and labor quality.
Moved by receiving the gifts, many union members and workers expressed their gratitude to the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Trade Unions at all levels. They said that this attention gave them more motivation to strive, stabilize their lives and complete their assigned tasks well.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Cao Minh affirmed: The Trade Union organization is always a reliable support, protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers. At the same time, the Trade Union will continue to accompany businesses to build a safe, friendly and sustainable working environment".
The Standing Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor also requested that grassroots trade unions regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, promptly advise and propose practical care solutions, especially for those in difficult circumstances, thereby strengthening workers' trust in the trade union organization.
This visit and gift-giving activity clearly demonstrates the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members.
Thereby strengthening the connection between the Trade Union, enterprises and workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in Lao Cai province.
