Lao Cai Industrial Park Trade Union "reaches the finish line" early for 2026 tasks

Lao Cai - 6/6 grassroots trade unions were established, nearly 1,000 new union members were admitted, which is a remarkable result that the Industrial Park Trade Union has achieved since the beginning of the year.

Implementing the plan of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) in 2026, the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of the province has proactively and synchronously implemented many solutions, considering this as a key task, deciding the sustainable development of the organization.

The unit has coordinated with the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province to review businesses, promote propaganda of Directive 14 of the Provincial Party Committee on establishing trade union organizations in businesses.

At the same time, directly approaching and mobilizing workers at NASAKI Vietnam Co., Ltd. - a non-fired material manufacturing enterprise in the Southern Industrial Park.

Through propaganda and mobilization, 18/30 workers have voluntarily joined the trade union organization; the remaining workers will continue to be mobilized in the coming time.

Since the beginning of 2026, the Trade Union Boards of Industrial Parks have established 6/6 grassroots trade unions, reaching 100% of the annual plan; newly admitted 970/1,500 union members, reaching nearly 65% of the target.

In addition, the unit has guided 2 grassroots trade unions to negotiate and sign 2 collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial to workers such as meal support, attendance bonus, gasoline support, 13th month salary...

The above results are practical activities in response to Workers' Month 2026, and also towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
