On September 9, a working delegation of the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) led by Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor had a working session with the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board; and visited and encouraged a number of businesses and workers in the area.
The program aims to grasp the production, business situation, life, employment, thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers after the merger of provinces.
Thereby, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor promptly recommended to local Party committees and authorities to remove difficulties, support businesses to maintain stable production, and at the same time ensure the legitimate rights of workers.

At the meeting, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor and the Economic Zone Management Board agreed to strengthen coordination in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers in industrial parks and economic zones.
The two sides will focus on exchanging information, supporting supervision, and promptly resolving issues arising in labor relations.
During the working trip, the delegation visited and worked at 7 typical units and enterprises.
Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor presented 7 gifts (each worth 2 million VND) to encourage the collective and encourage businesses to strive to overcome difficulties. In addition, 50 union members and workers in difficult circumstances received support gifts, each worth VND500,000.

Speaking at the working sessions, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat emphasized: "The Provincial Federation of Labor always accompanies businesses and workers. After the merger of provinces, trade unions at all levels need to proactively grasp the situation, promptly make recommendations and propose solutions to both support businesses in development and ensure the rights of workers. In particular, it is necessary to focus on building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations".
This activity contributes to strengthening the close relationship between trade unions - enterprises - workers, clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of trade union organizations in caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers, creating a favorable foundation for local socio-economic development after the merger of provinces.
