On August 7, Lao Cai Ward Trade Union informed that the unit had just organized the launching ceremony of the Trade Union of Lao Cai Ward Market.
At the ceremony, the Ward Trade Union announced the Decision of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation on the establishment of the Lao Cai Ward Market Trade and Service Grassroots Trade Union with 82 members.
Along with that, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union consisting of 7 members was also appointed. Mr. Ta Huy Dung holds the position of Chairman of the Trade Union.
Speaking to assign tasks, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Ward Party Committee Tran Van Thien congratulated the Executive Committee and trade union members.
Ward leaders requested the Executive Committee to soon stabilize the organization, build operating regulations and promote propaganda so that union members can well implement the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and legal regulations.
At the same time, trade unions need to promote their representative role, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; build effective trade union organizations, contributing to the development of trade and services in the area.
The establishment of the Trade Union of Trade and Service of Lao Cai ward market is expected to create a common home for workers in the field of trade and services at the market.
Through the trade union, union members have more conditions to connect and support each other in business activities, and at the same time are accompanied, cared for and protected by the trade union organization in terms of legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
