2025 is of particular significance to Yen Bai Ward Trade Union - the first year operating under the new trade union organization model.
In the context of being just established from July 1, 2025, the organizational apparatus is still facing many difficulties, but the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union has made efforts, proactively and creatively directed, operated and organized the implementation of tasks according to the plan assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation.
Yen Bai Ward Trade Union is the first unit in the province to organize the Trade Union Congress at the commune and ward levels; and at the same time assumes the role of Cluster Head of Emulation Cluster No. 1 of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, always being the leading unit in emulation movements.
During the year, the Ward Trade Union organized the presentation of 1,620 meals, supported 84 million VND for union members and businesses affected by storm No. 10; requested the Provincial Labor Federation to support 204 union members who suffered property and housing damage with a total amount of 204 million VND.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union has developed a plan to care for and give gifts to 542 union members with a total budget of 346 million VND.
In addition, patriotic emulation movements, cultural, artistic, and sports activities are being actively organized. The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions has had many positive changes; since its establishment, the ward trade union has established 2 new grassroots trade unions with 326 union members.
On this occasion, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing trade union work tasks in 2025.
