On November 26, the Trade Union of Lao Cai Urban Environment Joint Stock Company held a congress for the 2025-2030 term, attended by leaders of Lao Cai ward's trade union.
Lao Cai Urban Environment Joint Stock Company currently has 618 union members, most of whom work in harsh and toxic environments.
Following the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term, the Company's Trade Union has proactively developed an annual work plan, coordinated with the professional organization to organize conferences, negotiate and issue Collective Labor Agreements with many contents beneficial to employees.
In the period of 2023-2025, propaganda work will be implemented in a diverse manner, helping union members grasp the Party's guidelines, legal policies and internal regulations.
The emulation movement in production labor took place enthusiastically, many collectives and individuals were rewarded; the company's trade union received 2 certificates of merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor and 1 emulation flag from the General Confederation.
Care work is focused on with a series of activities such as periodic health check-ups, visits, support for difficulties, giving gifts to children of union members, organizing vacations for workers. The average income of workers is over 11 million VND/month.
The union also admitted 69 new union members, introduced 7 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, maintained inspection and supervision, ensured operating in accordance with the charter and transparency.
In the new term, the trade union aims to improve the quality of periodic dialogues, building a safe and modern working environment.
The Congress also elected the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, hoping to create more motivation for the urban environmental workers to work with peace of mind, continuing to contribute to the work of landscape preservation and urban sanitation in the province.
