In 2024, trade unions at all levels in Sa Pa town mobilized over 16 billion VND to take care of union members and workers and mobilized the construction of 12 new "Union Shelters" for union members whose housing was damaged by storm No. 3.
In order to promote the caring and representative functions of the trade union organization, the Sa Pa Town Labor Federation has directed agencies, units and enterprises to strictly implement the democratic regulations and guided grassroots trade unions of non-state enterprises to negotiate and sign 20 collective labor agreements with 20 companies and enterprises with over 1,900 workers enjoying more favorable contents than those prescribed by law, especially regarding wages, bonuses, working hours, housing, meals, etc.
In the 2025 Tet Sum Vay program, with the motto "No worker is left without Tet", the Sa Pa Town Labor Federation has collected and received funding of over 25 billion VND from 123 agencies, units and enterprises to take care of over 4,300 union members.
Of which, the business sector mobilized about 18 billion VND; state administrative agencies, communes, wards, and public service units mobilized over 7 billion VND.
In addition, the Town Labor Federation has reviewed and approved support requests and decided to pay for visits and Tet gifts to workers, civil servants, and laborers of 68 grassroots unions with an amount of over 700 million VND; and visited 30 orphans and disabled children of workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The Tet gifts given to union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 not only encourage their spirit but also contribute practically to taking care of the lives of union members and workers to have a happy and warm Tet.
