On July 10, Yen Bai Ward Trade Union organized the fourth (expanded) Executive Committee Conference, term I, term 2025 - 2030 to summarize activities in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
In the first 6 months of the year, Yen Bai Ward Trade Union focused on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, while promoting patriotic emulation movements.
During the 2026 Lunar New Year, trade union levels in the area have cared for 4,151 turns of union members and workers with a total budget of more than 1.3 billion VND through many practical support activities.

Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026, grassroots trade unions have organized many activities to care for and visit union members in difficult circumstances.
The Ward Trade Union presented 30 gifts and supported the construction of 1 Trade Union Shelter house worth 50 million VND.
The work of developing union members achieved many positive results with the establishment of 5 new grassroots trade unions, the development of 580 more union members and the introduction of 25 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting.
With this result, Yen Bai Ward Trade Union was commended by the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation as a unit with outstanding achievements in the peak month of union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions in 2026.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem requested the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union to continue to innovate operating methods and improve the quality of grassroots trade unions.
Promote the development of union members, strengthen care for the lives of workers and improve the effectiveness of inspection and supervision work.
On this occasion, the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union awarded 2 Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and 4 Certificates of Merit from the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities.
