On the afternoon of May 25, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union organized the opening ceremony of the 2026 football tournament at H'Mong football field, group 1, Sa Pa ward.
This year's tournament has the participation of 9 teams with 126 athletes from affiliated grassroots trade unions. Competition time from May 25 - 29.
The activity is organized to celebrate major holidays of the country, towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 and in response to Workers' Month 2026.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, leaders of Sa Pa Ward Trade Union said that the tournament not only creates a healthy sports playground, improving health for union members and workers, but also contributes to strengthening exchanges and connections between agencies, units and businesses in the area.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the opening match between the Grassroots Trade Union of Amazing Sa Pa Hotel and the Grassroots Trade Union of Sun World Fansipan Sa Pa took place sôi nổi, attracting a large number of fans to watch and cheer.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Honesty - Nobility", the tournament is expected to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere among officials, union members, and workers in Sa Pa ward.
