The workers who are exemplary Party members represent more than 3,800 workers who are Party members of Nam Dinh province, with many contributions and achievements in practicing political courage, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, having many technical innovation initiatives, and being exemplary in all fields.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh assessed the outstanding Party workers as shining examples for union members and workers to learn from and follow, creating motivation and inspiration for many workers to strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor suggested that trade unions at all levels of Nam Dinh province continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022, of the 13th Party Central Committee on strengthening the building of grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members in the new period and Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW, dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on innovating the organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation. In which, focus on propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, strengthening education, improving the stance, ideology, and lifestyle of workers, civil servants, and laborers.
Trade unions at all levels regularly conduct social supervision, participate in giving opinions on Party and government building; promptly advise Party committees and authorities on issues related to employment, workers' lives and activities of trade union organizations. Focus on building a strong trade union organization, promoting the emulation movement in production and labor; create conditions and an environment for workers to promote their strengths to come up with initiatives and creativity in labor, thereby discovering outstanding union members and workers to introduce to the Party. At the same time, actively advise the Party Committee to focus on establishing and improving the quality of grassroots Party organizations in enterprises...
It is known that in 2024, along with emulation movements, the work of developing party members and improving the quality of party members will be of interest to trade unions at all levels in Nam Dinh province. In addition, trade unions at all levels in the province have introduced over 1,700 outstanding union members to attend classes to foster awareness of the Party, of which more than 960 outstanding union members have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
