Dong Hieu Commune Trade Union mobilizes to establish 2 grassroots trade unions

    Nghe An - Dong Hieu Commune Trade Union mobilized to establish 2 more grassroots trade unions, expected to develop about 205 union members.

    On June 20, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that Dong Hieu Commune Trade Union has worked with Shun An Co., Ltd. and Thai Hoa Ice Cream Co., Ltd. to propagate and mobilize the establishment of grassroots trade unions; and at the same time grasp the situation of labor, employment and the lives of workers at enterprises.

    At the working session, representatives of the Dong Hieu Commune Trade Union informed about the role and functions of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; and exchanged contents related to the process and procedures for establishing grassroots trade unions according to regulations.

    Through exchanges, leaders of Shun An Co., Ltd. and Thai Hoa Ice Cream Co., Ltd. agreed to coordinate with the Trade Union organization to implement the steps to establish grassroots trade unions according to the plan.

    According to the plan, Shun An Co., Ltd. is expected to establish a grassroots trade union on June 29, 2026. Thai Hoa Ice Cream Co., Ltd. is expected to establish a grassroots trade union on July 3, 2026.

    The establishment of 2 grassroots trade unions is expected to develop about 205 more union members, contributing to expanding the network of trade union organizations, improving the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
