On June 16, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized a dialogue conference between Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation and the Chairmen of grassroots trade unions of enterprises in Que Vo I, Que Vo II, Que Vo III and Nam Son - Hap Linh Industrial Parks.
The conference is organized to grasp the situation of grassroots trade union activities, labor relations, employment, income, and life of union members and workers; and at the same time listen to difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing trade union activities at enterprises to promptly remove obstacles, orient and improve the effectiveness of trade union activities in the new situation.
At the conference, delegates listened to a summary report on the results of trade union activities of Emulation Cluster No. 4 in the first 6 months of 2026.
Currently, the Cluster has 294 grassroots trade unions with over 175 thousand trade union members. Over the past time, grassroots trade unions have actively implemented many activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; organized cultural, artistic and sports activities; responded to patriotic emulation movements and programs launched by the Provincial Labor Federation.
With a spirit of democracy, openness and responsibility, the conference recorded 16 speeches, exchanges, and recommendations from the Chairmen of grassroots Trade Unions.
The opinions focused on practical issues directly related to trade union activities and workers' lives such as trade union financial work; management and updating of union member data; improving the quality of lunch meals; social housing policies, housing for workers; training and fostering grassroots trade union officials; caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thach Van Chung directly exchanged and answered many contents under his authority; and at the same time received recommendations and proposals from grassroots trade unions to summarize and report to functional agencies for consideration and resolution.
The Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the spirit of responsibility and proactiveness of the team of grassroots Trade Union Chairmen in accompanying businesses, caring for workers' lives and building harmonious and stable labor relations at enterprises.
The Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that in the coming time, grassroots trade unions need to continue to promote the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; proactively grasp the ideological situation, thoughts, and aspirations of union members; improve the quality of dialogue at the workplace and effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations.
In particular, the comrade emphasized the task of promoting digital transformation in the Trade Union organization associated with the deployment and use of Mini App Zalo of Bac Ninh Trade Union.
Mr. Thach Van Chung requested 100% of grassroots Trade Union Chairmen to actively propagate and guide union members and workers to install and use Mini Apps to strengthen the connection between union members and trade union organizations, improve the efficiency of union member management, receive feedback and recommendations from grassroots levels as well as quickly deploy policies and activities of trade union organizations to union members and workers.
In addition, the comrade requested grassroots trade unions to strictly implement regulations on trade union finance, ensure publicity and transparency; strengthen propaganda and dissemination of laws; effectively organize patriotic emulation movements; pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; contributing to building the Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union organization to become increasingly strong.
