On June 18, the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs said that it had just coordinated with the Provincial Social Insurance to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate unemployment insurance (BHTN) and social insurance (BHXH) policies to businesses in Nghe An.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vi Ngoc Quynh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An, emphasized that social insurance and unemployment insurance are important social security policies, contributing to ensuring the rights of workers, supporting businesses to stabilize human resources and develop sustainably.
According to the Nghe An Employment Service Center, in May 2026, the unit received 1,964 applications for unemployment benefits, bringing the total number of applications received from the beginning of the year to 5,896 cases. In addition, the center has provided counseling and job introduction for 1,963 turns of workers. The total amount of unemployment benefits paid in the month reached more than 41 billion VND.
At the conference, representatives of the Department of Employment, Provincial Social Insurance and Nghe An Employment Service Center disseminated new regulations on unemployment insurance according to the Law on Employment No. 74/2025/QH15 and Decree No. 374/2025/ND-CP. The content focused on participants, benefits, benefit levels, conditions for enjoying unemployment benefits, electronic dossier processing procedures and employment support policies.
Discussing at the conference, businesses reflected difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing social insurance and unemployment insurance policies. At the same time, units proposed to strengthen training and professional guidance, especially for the implementation of online dossiers on the National Public Service Portal and connection with the National Job Exchange. These opinions have been answered and specifically guided by functional agencies.
The conference contributed to raising awareness and responsibility of businesses and workers in implementing social insurance and unemployment insurance policies, ensuring legitimate rights for workers and improving the effectiveness of social security work in the area.
